Smiles per gallon

Some will think it is just a car. Some will think it is just a car show, what does this have to do with anything? Why does it matter?

Our vehicles have a deep meaning. Every car show we do; people share their stories with us. We hug. We cry. Grown men shed tears reading our story and share their story with us.

This is why we do car shows. To have conversations, to make a difference, to bring hope, and to bring awareness. The vehicles are what brings people together. The stories are what gives us strength to carry on.

JackWagon

The JackWagon is a 2021 Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon EcoDiesel that was born out of dedication to our late son, Grayson, whom we lost in January of 2020 to suicide at the age of 16.

We ordered the JackWagon in May of 2021 and took delivery in early July of 2021. This is our first ever Jeep and it is most definitely one for the books! We have customized it somewhat, but we use the JackWagon to travel and as a conversation starter wherever we go.

This Jeep is a rolling statement to suicide awareness, prevention, as well as trying to live through the aftermath. We don't wish this life on anyone, especially a parent, but it truly is a preventable death! Be kind. Be honorable. Stay alive. Your story is not over!

Our Adventures

With customizing the vehicles, we have come across some amazing companies. Sharing our story with them, the companies have helped us make our jeep and our car one of a kind. Not only have they been helpful, but extremely supportive in our mission to bring the awareness to the for front. Whether we are in car shows, going around town, or traveling, the JackWagon & DreamState are sure to start a conversation.

DreamState

DREAMSTATE is a 1965 Backdraft Racing RT4B Cobra replica. It is the result of a 35 year dream to one day own a replica of true American muscle car history. The car itself and its colors were born out of a dedication to Mental Health Awareness (represented by the main color of Porsche Acid Green), and Suicide Awareness, as well as Dementia/Alzheimer’s Awareness (all 3 represented by the 1971 Mopar Plum Crazy Purple pinstripes). We lost our youngest son, Grayson, to suicide in January of 2020. I also lost my dad to Dementia in October of 2004. This entire build had Grayson in mind as we had been planning to build a Cobra together since his love for older muscle cars was so strong. Grayson's dream was to open his own diesel mechanic shop after making career in the military. Now we strive to bring the awareness of mental health and suicide into the open and to break the stigmas of suicide, especially among men!

Your story is not over!
